A new kind of market is coming to Mt Eliza - one that celebrates creativity, community and the value of handmade.

Hosted by the Village Church and in collaboration with Ninch Nabs, this one-day-only artisan market features over 25 local makers offering samples, seconds, discontinued lines and one-off designs at reduced prices. Expect a curated mix of ceramics, jewellery, candles, textiles, art prints and more — all handcrafted and full of character.

The event highlights the pieces that don’t usually make it to shop shelves — the extras, the experiments, the perfectly imperfect — and offers them in a joyful, community setting. Georgia Symmons, co-founder of Ninch Nabs, says the market is about both connection and conscious consumption. “Handmade doesn’t have to mean expensive. So many makers have beautiful pieces sitting in their studios — still made with care, still full of value. Ninch Nabs gives those pieces a second life and brings people together around creativity and community.”

Visitors can enjoy fresh egg and bacon rolls, refeshments and live music in the relaxed, tree-lined grounds of the Village Church.

Rev Cam McAdam says the event reflects the church’s heart for hospitality and community.
